New Japan Pro-Wrestling

As of this writing, L.I.J. is 2-0 on the night.

The NEVER Openweight 6-Man Tag Team Championships were on the line at NJPW Dominion. The trio of Hiroshi Tanahashi, Boltin Oleg and Toru Yano went into the match as champions.

Their challengers were Los Ingobernables de Japon’s Yota Tsuji, Hiromu Takahashi and BUSHI.

At the conclusion of the match, Tanahashi went for the ‘High Fly Flow’ on Tsuji but he missed. Tsuji followed up with a spear to secure the win for his team. Post-match, Oleg Boltin attempted to get a handshake from Tsuji and he returned to the ring after the loss to get it. Tsuji did not give Boltin his acknowledgment.

It is the first time that Tsuji has held a title in NJPW. As for Takahashi, it is his first tag title in the company and it is BUSHI’s fifth time as NEVER Openweight 6-Man Champion.
