An update from Dax Harwood.

All Elite Wrestling’s Dax Harwood posted a video onto his social media pages and started off by apologizing to AEW President Tony Khan, the company’s medical staff and his fellow roster members. He did not inform them of what he’d been dealing with medically and thought he could tough it out.

At AEW Dynasty, FTR (Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler) clashed with The Young Bucks (Matthew Jackson & Nicholas Jackson) for the vacant AEW World Tag Team Championships. He gave Matt a piledriver through a ladder and it messed up his lower back and stemming from that, a hematoma developed.

After the match against Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta on Collision, Harwood went to put ice on the hematoma and stated that it grew to the size of a football at the very least. He’s been in ‘excruciating’ pain over the last few months. Harwood reiterated that he thought he could tough it out and did not want FTR to be taken off the road.

When Harwood told ringside physician Michael J. Sampson about what he is dealing with, Sampson immediately took him off the road and said it could have led to retirement if Harwood continued as he was.

FTR is going to be off the road but Dax does not know for how long.
