Jordynne Grace won’t be wearing ear piercings in the ring anymore, and for good reason.

Following her match against Roxanne Perez at NXT Battleground on Sunday, the TNA Knockouts World Champion revealed a minor injury that she sustained during her match.

In a photo posted to social media, she showed that an ear piercing had ripped down to the end of her ear lobe, coming completely off during the match.

“Very sad to announce that after many years of unproblematic, diligent work, my ear piercings will now retire from in-ring action,” Grace said in a social media post on Monday morning.

Diligent viewers on Sunday noticed what looked to be Grace’s ear piercing getting caught on the attire of Perez during their match.

The injury likely won’t keep Grace out of competition. However, it provides a gruesome image which is a nightmare scenario for anyone who has worn a piercing before.
