Before heading to Battleground, Sexyy Red was involved in an altercation at an airport.
The host of WWE NXT Battleground was rapper Sexyy Red and she was featured in segments throughout the show and on WWE’s socials afterwards.
Ahead of Battleground, Sexyy Red was arrested in New Jersey for a minor offense. She was involved in a fight between a group of people she was with and another group at Newark Liberty International Airport. TMZ obtained footage of the incident.
Red was pulled away from the fight. Police arrived to the scene and arrested a number of people, including Sexyy. TMZ was told that she was arrested for disorderly conduct while others were booked on assault charges. There were individuals who were taken to the hospital for minor injuries.
She posted a video online at 5 AM that day to share that she was released from police custody.
