On June 16th, Pro Wrestling NOAH is running the YOKOHAMA BUNTAI for their ‘Grand Ship’ event. The show is being headlined by NJPW STRONG Openweight Champion Gabe Kidd challenging Kaito Kiyomiya for the GHC Heavyweight Championship .
Days out from the show, NOAH pushed out the news that at Grand Ship, there will be a joint announcement from them and WWE. They added that a message from a ‘certain wrestler’ will be also be released.
At a CyberFight press conference in May, it was shared that one of the target goals is to ‘strengthen relationship with WWE.’
NOAH, Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling and DDT reside under the CyberFight umbrella.
