Drew McIntyre inducted into Scottish Wrestling Hall of Fame

McIntyre was the 2024 inductee. 

Ahead of WWE presenting Friday Night SmackDown and their Clash at the Castle Premium Live Event from Glasgow, Scotland, the country’s own Drew McIntyre was welcomed back and while home, an accolade was added to McIntyre’s résumé. 

WWE posted to their social media platforms that McIntyre is the first active wrestler to be inducted into the Scottish Wresting Hall of Fame. It was founded in 2014 and thus far, here are the following inductees: 

  • George Kidd (2015)
  • Andy Robin (2016)
  • Frank Cullen (2017)
  • Bill Ross (2018)
  • Drew McDonald (2019)
  • Chic Purvey (2020)
  • Kim McKenzie (2021)
  • Ian Campbell (2022)
  • Rusty Blair (2023)
  • Drew McIntyre (2024)

McIntyre is scheduled to wrestle Sheamus in a dark match at SmackDown. The next day, he’ll be challenging Damian Priest for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at the PLE.
