The Rock suffered ruptured bursa sac during filming of ‘The Smashing Machine,’ no extensive tissue damage

An update from Johnson. 

Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson is playing the role of MMA legend Mark Kerr in the film, ‘The Smashing Machine.’ Johnson shared on his social media platforms that he suffered an elbow injury and would be undergoing an MRI. 

The update noted that he suffered a ruptured bursa sac that Johnson notes will eventually heal. There is no extensive tissue damage.
