Alba Fyre & Isla Dawn capture WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles at Clash at the Castle

Dawn and Fyre win the belts in their home country.

The second match of the night at WWE Clash at the Castle was a Triple Threat tag for the Women’s Tag Team Championships. Going into the match, Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair were the champions and defended against the teams of Shayna Baszler and Zoey Stark in addition to Scotland’s own Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn.

Cargill and Belair hit their finisher onto Baszler but as Jade went going for the cover, Isla slid into the ring, got rid of her with a German suplex and then pinned Baszler to secure the win.

Dawn hails from Glasgow and Fyre is from Paisley, Scotland.

The newly crowned champions celebrated with family members at ringside. It was in May that Alba’s mother passed away while visiting her in Florida. Her passing was mentioned during the broadcast as they were celebrating.
