CM Punk to be at 6/21 WWE SmackDown in Illinois to hopefully let everyone know he’s cleared

An impromptu appearance from CM Punk at the press conference.

As Cathy Kelley was moving along with hosting the WWE Clash at the Castle press conference, she announced that an impromptu appearance from CM Punk would be happening.

Punk showed up in a Celtic F.C. jersey after costing Drew McIntyre the World Heavyweight Championship at Clash at the Castle. He brought donuts to the presser.

He stated that he’s cleared for referee duties. He had a ‘bit of a hiccup’ but his arm feels great. He shared that he’s been given permission to skip the 6/17 Raw to visit his doctor in Chicago with the expectation that he’ll be cleared from his triceps injury that he suffered in January. Punk is going to be at the 6/21 SmackDown in Rosemont, Illinois and will hopefully be delivering the news that he’s cleared.

Punk stated that he has no animosity towards Drew McIntyre, but he’s coming after him because he prayed for him to get hurt. He said McIntyre will never be a champion as long as they’re both in the same company.

He was asked a question about the idea of him and Drew’s next bout being a Hell in a Cell and Punk responding by saying he’s glad the reporter doesn’t own a wrestling company and he can throw the fantasy booking out of the window.
