Damian Priest states that his leg does not feel good, addresses ‘transitional champion’ comments

Priest is still champion.

After retaining the WWE World Heavyweight Championship in the main event of Clash at the Castle, Damian Priest took the stage at the press conference.

During his match, he went for his step-up front flip to the outside of the ring and his ankle was caught in-between the ropes. Priest had not gone to medical at this point and came straight to the press conference. He said his leg does not feel good.

As far as CM Punk goes, he said Punk will have to earn his shot at the World Heavyweight Title.

He addressed past comments about him being a ‘paper champion’ and ‘transitional champion.’ He feels he’s the face of Raw and will continue being holding onto the belt.

Priest spoke about potentially facing GUNTHER at SummerSlam. GUNTHER won the King of the Ring tournament to earn that title opportunity. Priest wants people to doubt him in that matchup.
