On Sunday, NOAH and WWE unveiled their joint announcement.
WWE star AJ Styles will travel to Japan in July to take on NOAH’s Naomichi Marufuji.
The match will take place at the Destination 2024 event on July 13th at Budokan Hall.
The announcement came via video on Sunday at NOAH’s Grand Ship 2024 event in Yokohama.

Marufuji, 44, is a four-time GHC Heavyweight Champion, and has won Junior Heavyweight Championships in all three major Japanese promotions.
Styles, 47, is no stranger to Japan, having traveled there to compete four times with NJPW while signed to TNA.
He returned to NJPW full-time in 2014 and won the IWGP Heavyweight Championship twice before his debut for WWE in 2016.
A tweet notes that the event will be available to order through Abema for viewers in the USA, Philippines, South Korea & Thailand.
