Uncle Howdy & new group arrives on WWE Raw

A new group closes out Raw.

The main event of the 6/17 WWE Raw was Jey Uso versus Finn Bálor versus Rey Mysterio to determine who would qualify for the men’s Money in the Bank Ladder match. Uso scored the win and afterwards, he went into the stands to celebrate with the audience.

As he was doing so, the static from the start of Windham Rotunda/Bray Wyatt’s Fiend theme played. It then transitioned into the opening part of Wyatt’s ‘Shatter’ theme that he used for his last run in pro wrestling. A masked person crawled towards a lantern that was placed on the middle of the stage.

The camera went backstage and there was an individual with a Ramblin’ Rabbit mask that was holding a mallet and there were multiple people laid out on the floor. Other individuals were shown during the segment and they were sporting life-sized masks from characters in the Firefly Fun House. One of the wrestlers laid out backstage was Chad Gable. There was blood on Gable’s head in addition to blood splattered across the walls from others that were attacked.

The last character to be revealed was Uncle Howdy. All five members of the new group then took center stage. Uncle Howdy grabbed the lantern and before blowing the light out, he said, ‘We’re here.’
