An update from The Blade himself.

It has been three months since The Blade wrestled and four months since he competed for AEW/ROH. He revealed to K & S WrestleFest that he’s on injury reserve due to a back injury.

He stated that he’s still with AEW and is hoping to be back in action in a couple of months. When asked if he’s undergone surgery, he said that is a possibility.

I’m just on injury reserve right now but yes, still with the company (AEW).

I’m hoping so (to be back before All In). My back’s bad. It’s slowly but surely getting better but I’m hoping to be back in a couple months and I hope to be back by then… A lot of wear and tear… Might be (having surgery). That’s what we’re in the midst of right now.

The Blade is a part of a duo with The Butcher Andy Williams. It was in November 2019 that they arrived to AEW alongside The Bunny a.k.a. Allie.
