NXT drew its strongest 18-49 audience of the year for the show featuring the 25-man battle royal and several surprise entrants.

The June 18 episode averaged 724,000 viewers and 235,000 (0.26) in the 18-49 demographic and ranked first on cable on Tuesday, per Programming Insider and Wrestlenomics.

It was NXT’s largest 18-49 audience since November 7, 2023, representing 16 percent from the previous week. Overall viewership grew one percent from last week’s average of 718,000 viewers.

The key growth area was among men 18-49, which increased by 28 percent from last week to an average of 235,000 viewers this week. Females in the core demo had a small decrease of seven percent this week with 100,000 viewers.

NXT aired against Game 5 of the Stanley Cup Finals between the Edmonton Oilers and Florida Panthers, which topped all programming with 4,150,000 viewers and a 1.13 rating in the demo on ABC.

NXT advertised a 25-man battle royal for a shot at the NXT Championship and the promise of non-NXT talent appearing in the match. This included TNA talent Joe Hendry and Frankie Kazarian and several performers from the main roster including Angel Garza, Humberto Carrillo, Dragon Lee, and Apollo Crews.

In Canada, NXT averaged approximately 77,000 viewers and 28,000 in the 25-54 demographic on Sportsnet 360. The show did not rank among the top ten sports programs on Tuesday, led by the Oilers vs. Panthers game.
