Chase U is headed to Heatwave.
There was a Tag Team Turmoil match that started NXT to determine the challengers to the NXT Tag Team Championships at Heatwave.
New Catch Republic (Tyler Bate & Pete Dunne) started off by eliminating Edris Enofe and Malik Blade. Next up was Angel and Berto. They were distracted by Apollo Crews, which led to Bate and Dunne getting the win. New Catch Republic also went on to eliminate Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows.
The final team out was Chase University’s Andre Chase and Duke Hudson. Towards the conclusion of this portion of the match, Ridge Holland pushed Andre out of the way and he took all of Bate’s dive. Chase capitalized and went on to secure the win and title opportunity.
It is official that Andre Chase and Duke Hudson will be challenging Nathan Frazer and Axiom for the Tag Titles at Heatwave on July 7th.
