Forbidden Door season is in effect.
The June 26th episode of AEW Dynamite is leading in to AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door on June 30th. A new match has been added to the 6/26 show and it’ll be a six-man tag between Los Ingobernables de Japon and Blackpool Combat Club.
Shingo Takagi, Hiromu Takahashi and Titán will be taking on Claudio Castagnoli, ROH Pure Champion Wheeler Yuta and IWGP World Heavyweight Champion Jon Moxley. Bryan Danielson will be on commentary and at the pay-per-view, he’ll be facing Shingo in an Owen Hart Cup first round match.
At Forbidden Door, Moxley is going to be defending the IWGP World Title against LIJ’s Tetsuya Naito. The six-man tag joins the following lineup for Dynamite:
- Mariah May, Mina Shirakawa & Toni Storm (w/ Luther) vs. Saraya, Harley Cameron & Anna Jay
- Owen Hart Cup First Round Match: Jay White vs. Rey Fénix
- Daniel Garcia to speak
- Swerve Strickland & Will Ospreay vs. Gates of Agony (Bishop Kaun & Toa Liona)
- Zack Sabre Jr. vs. Kyle O’Reilly
- Blackpool Combat Club (Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli & Wheeler Yuta) vs. Los Ingobernables de Japon (Shingo Takagi, Hiromu Takahashi & Titán)
