New additions to the Heatwave lineup.
The reigning NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez scored a win over Karmen Petrovic on the 6/25 NXT on USA Network. Post-match, she had a confrontation with Lola Vice and Vice ended up dropping her with a spinning back fist.
She scooped up Perez’s title and took it with her. Vice left the title in the office of General Manager Ava and told her to relay to Perez that she wants a title shot at Heatwave. The match was made official and on the 7/2 NXT, Perez and Vice will meet face-to-face.
There was a singles match between Sol Ruca and Arianna Grace to determine the number one contender to the Women’s North American Championship. Roca emerged victorious and she’ll now be challenging Kelani Jordan at Heatwave.
