A successful operation for Fujimoto.

Over the weekend, one of the title matches on the bill for Ice Ribbon’s Korakuen Hall event was Tsukasa Fujimoto challenging Mayu Iwatani for the IWGP Women’s Championship. The match was stopped 16 minutes in as Fujimoto dislocated her right elbow.

An update was provided via Ice Ribbon and the promotion noted that she underwent successful surgery. In addition to the dislocated elbow, there was ligament damage and an avulsion fracture. The promotion noted that she’ll be present at their 6/29 show to speak to the audience.

As of this writing, Fujimoto is being advertised for Sareee’s Sareee-ISM show on July 29th. She is set to team with Arisa Nakajima at the event.

Fujimoto has been back in action on a consistent basis since her return in April.
