Former TNA Wrestling and WWE creative David Sahadi has rejoined MLW as the promotion’s Executive Producer.
Sahadi’s return to the promotion was announced Wednesday, bringing him back to the company where he briefly worked in a backstage role during 2019.
“David Sahadi is the creative force behind some of the most iconic production and marketing in wrestling, ” MLW CEO Court Bauer said in a press release. “David has redefined hype for promotions, talent, and their stories giving us all goosebumps in its presentation. His unparalleled expertise and creative genius will be instrumental in shaping the future of MLW.”
The New York-born producer, who has been in the wrestling industry since the early 90s, has found his new home shortly after leaving TNA Wrestling. Sahadi exited the company in May alongside fellow producer RD Evans, who now has a backstage role in AEW.
Sahadi had a notably much longer previous stint in TNA Wrestling, working for them from 2004 to 2017. Before then, he spent a decade working backstage in WWE. His long run with the company, which he landed following a career working for NBC Sports, came to an end in 2003 after he asked for his release.
