AEW saw an improvement in its viewership for Dynamite after falling to its lowest 18-49 audience in history last week.

The June 26 episode from Buffalo averaged 680,000 viewers and 288,000 (0.22) in the 18-49 demographic, per PW Torch and Wrestlenomics.

While topping last week’s numbers, this week’s figures still represent the third-lowest Dynamite audience of the year and the second-lowest 18-49 audience.

This week’s competition included the first night of the NBA Draft, although we don’t have viewership figures yet. Dynamite had the benefit of the Big Bang Theory returning as its lead-in after the Marvel film “Black Panther” was last week’s lead-in on TBS.

This was an upswing from last week’s low figures of 502,000 and 0.16 respectively. It was the lowest viewership in Dynamite’s history in its normal slot, and the smallest audience in the demo for any episode of Dynamite.

In the key demographic, males grew by 37 percent this week to 175,000 viewers while females increased by 33 percent to 113,000 viewers.

The 18-34 demographic saw a small increase of five percent with an average of 85,000 viewers this week.

Dynamite averaged approximately 76,000 viewers and 37,000 in the 25-54 demographic on TSN 2 in Canada. It was the show’s largest audience in Canada since May 15.

Wrestlenomics reports that the highest quarter was the opening fifteen minutes with MJF and Daniel Garcia’s promo segment with 846,000 viewers and 355,000 in the demo. There was a spike between 9 – 9:30 p.m. ET for The Acclaimed and The Elite’s segment and the women’s trios match involving Timeless Toni Storm, Mariah May & Mina Shirakawa followed by The Learning Tree being confronted by Samoa Joe, HOOK & Katsuyori Shibata.
