Highlights from the Forbidden Door media call.
Going into AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door on June 30th, AEW President Tony Khan fielded questions from the media on a conference call.
Among the highlights were Khan being asked about Becky Lynch and soon-to-be free agent Dijak. He stated that he will not be handling any negotiations over a media call but did not address either talent directly. Khan thinks the movement between wrestling companies is great.
He mentioned that Britt Baker ‘could be returning soon.’
Circling to the topic of Forbidden Door, Khan stated that the live gate is approaching $1 million and 10,000 tickets have been sold.
