Chris Jericho made an unannounced appearance at Arena Mexico on Friday night, attacking top star Místico and hinting at a future match.
Jericho, who wrestled for CMLL from 1993 to 1995 as Corazon de Leon, entered the ring wearing a Místico mask and attacked the performer. Jericho used stomps in the corner and connected with a Judas Effect before revealing his identity.

Backstage, Jericho cut a promo going through his history in Mexico and stating that Arena Mexico was his house before it was Místico’s. He issued a challenge to face Mistico.

Jericho and Místico will wrestle in separate matches at AEW’s Forbidden Door. Jericho teams with Big Bill & Jeff Cobb against Samoa Joe, Hook & Katsuyori Shibata. Místico teams with The Lucha Bros. against Yota Tsuji, Hiromu Takahashi & Titan.
