Hikaru Shida advanced to the semifinal stage of the women’s Owen Hart Foundation tournament on Saturday.
After defeating Deonna Purrazzo on AEW Collision, she will next face either Mariah May or Saraya, whose quarterfinal is on the Forbidden Door Zero Hour pre-show on Sunday night.
The semifinal on the other side of the bracket is already set, with Willow Nightingale facing Kris Statlander on the July 3rd ‘Beach Break’ episode of AEW Dynamite.
The eventual winner will get a shot at the AEW Women’s Championship at All In on August 25th at Wembley Stadium, London.
Shida was attacked after the match by Purrazzo, with Thunder Rosa making the save.
