Lio Rush pulled from Beyond Wrestling event due to injury sustained in Forbidden Door ladder match

Lio Rush has had to withdraw from an appearance for Beyond Wrestling on Thursday due to an injury sustained during AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door.

There are very few details, but Beyond Wrestling communicated the news on social media.

It noted:

BREAKING: Lio Rush suffered an injury during tonight’s ladder match and will no longer be able to compete against [Aaron Rourke] at #Americanrana this Thursday, 4th of July at White Eagle in Worcester. We are working to find a suitable replacement.

Rush was part of the six-man ladder match for the vacant TBS Championship, which was won by Jack Perry.

The nature or extent of his injury is not yet known.
