Countdown to Heatwave will feature a tag match.
There was a singles match on the 7/2 WWE NXT that saw Karmen Petrovic take on Jazmyn Nyx. Nyx was accompanied to the ring by Jacy Jayne and Jayne helped her score the win.
After the bout, Petrovic went to General Manager Ava and expressed that she wants another shot at Nyx and Jayne. She was informed that her ‘partner’ came to her about a match and initially, Petrovic thought Ava was talking about Natalya but she learned that it was Arianna Grace who’ll be tagging with her.
The match is going to take place on the NXT Heatwave Countdown show. Toronto, Ontario, Canada is hosting Heatwave and Petrovic was raised in the city and Grace is from Canada.
