WWE Undisputed Champion Cody Rhodes took a rare pinfall as The Bloodline won the Money in the Bank 2024 main event.
Rhodes and his teammates Kevin Owens and Randy Orton lost a match marked by heel tactics.
The three members of The Bloodline competing were Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga & Jacob Fatu. However, Tonga Loa did accompany the others north of the border.
This marked Jacob Fatu’s first WWE match.
“We want Roman” chants rang out as the match began with Cody Rhodes and Solo Sikoa in the ring.
Sikoa tagged out to Tama Tonga before any physicality took place, leading to boos from the crowd.
Kevin Owens got a raucous response as he was tagged in and went to town on Tama.
It was then Orton’s turn to tag in, but Tama Tonga hit a thumb to Orton’s eye to tag in Jacob Fatu.
Orton hit his draping DDT on Fatu but the latter just popped straight back up.

Solo then got the tag and the heels isolated Orton in their corner.
Orton took sustained punishment before getting the hot tag to Owens, who briefly got the upper hand before The Bloodline got the better of him for an extended period.
Owens eventually got the tag to Rhodes, and he and Solo went at it. A fired-up Rhodes went after Tonga Loa but took a spear from Solo as he got back in the ring.
A ref bump stopped the babyfaces from grabbing victory as all three hit their finshers on Sikoa. There was then chaos outside the ring, including the referee taking a second bump.
Back in the ring, the heels got the upper hand, mostly courtesy of Jacob Fatu. This included Fatu holding Rhodes for the Samoan Spike from Sikoa.
Fatu then tossed the referee back into the ring as Solo pinned the Undisputed WWE Champion.
