Damian Priest retained his World Heavyweight Title in a match that became a triple threat after Drew McIntyre cashed in his Money in the Bank contract.

Drew McIntyre’s earlier victory in the men’s Money in the Bank ladder match played into the story, with each competitor staring down the entrance ramp at key moments.

There was a big two-count on Rollins after he took a Razor’s Edge. Rollins would recover with a superplex into a Falcon Arrow.

At this point, Drew McIntyre’s music hit and he headed to ringside with the Money in the Bank briefcase. He cashed it in immediately, making the match a triple threat.

McIntyre went for the Claymore on Rollins but was stopped by Priest.

CM Punk then appeared and hit McIntyre with multiple chair shots. Punk grabbed the championship title and nailed McIntyre in the face with it.

Priest capitalized, hitting the South of Heaven to retain. In the aftermath, Rollins remonstrated with Punk and McIntyre was left with an unsuccessful cash-in.
