Bate is going to be out of action for a bit.
New Catch Republic’s Pete Dunne went one-on-one with Bronson Reed on the 7/8 Monday Night Raw. As Dunne was making his entrance, Michael Cole shared on commentary that Dunne’s partner Tyler Bate is sidelined with an injury.
Cole added that Bate is going to be out of action for a bit after suffering an injury on NXT. Bate and Dunne defeated Hank Walker and Tank Ledger on the 7/2 episode of NXT.
In the aforementioned singles match between Bronson Reed and Dunne, Reed emerged victorious.
Post-match, Sheamus made his way to the ring to stop Reed from continuing to beat Dunne down. Sheamus fought him off but Dunne was not receptive to it. Sheamus, Dunne and Ridge Holland were known as The Brawling Brutes.
Sheamus stepped away from the group to recover from an injury and Ridge Holland went on to return to NXT.
