Bayley expresses interest in WWE hosting second Evolution event

She’ll believes it’ll happen again.

It was in October of 2018 that WWE presented their first all-women’s pay-per-view, Evolution. There were 10,900 people in attendance for the show and a total of eight matches on the card.

One of the spots on the card was filled by current WWE Women’s Champion Bayley. She tagged with Mercedes Moné and Natalya to take on Liv Morgan, Ruby Soho and Valhalla (Sarah Logan).

While guest appearing on Cody Rhodes’ What Do You Wanna Talk About? show, she expressed that she’d like for WWE to host a second Evolution event. She is of the mindset that the current talent roster mixed with outside names, like a Jordynne Grace, could fill out a card. Bayley added that a talent from the past could be incorporated.

Yes, yes (I want to see another Evolution event). Why not? Like we were just saying, there’s so many women. So the thing about the first one was we had so many girls from NXT for one, which they got to showcase on a bigger stage. But they had so many women from the past. It’s kind of like the first few (Royal) Rumbles, a lot of women from the past because we didn’t have enough women to fill up these matches but, now we do and I think it would be so cool to give everybody on Raw and everybody on SmackDown a part of that show, Evolution 2. You can bring girls in from NXT, you can bring girls in — we just saw Jordynne Grace on NXT. TNA girls, whatever that connection is there. We can bring different girls in and you can bring someone in from the past, if there up for it, to do a little something but, we have such a stacked roster right now, where’s it like, we can hold down a show on our own, another P.L.E. on our own and it’s been so many years where it’s not like it’s something we have to do every year where we’re kind of like, alright, we’ve seen it enough times but I think it’s time because it is a different era compared to back then. That was one of my favorite matches I’ve ever had, on that show… I believe that too (that another one will happen).

Since capturing the WWE Women’s Title at WrestleMania XL, Bayley has had three defenses. Her latest was at Clash at the Castle against Piper Niven.
