Green thinks it’s long overdue.

Earlier this week, reports emerged from @hashtagPWN on X, Fightful Select and F4WOnline that the idea of adding Women’s Intercontinental and United States Titles is being discussed within WWE.

That report was reacted to by Chelsea Green as she guest appeared on The Masked Man Show. She is hoping it comes to fruition and feels it is long overdue.

Well first of all, I don’t know that it’s been confirmed because I don’t know it (Green reacted to reports of WWE discussing secondary women’s titles for main roster). I only saw it on the internet. Whatever you guys are reading, I’m also reading too. I mean, of course I’m hoping and praying that that’s true because any more kind of spotlights that the women can get would be amazing. I do think it’s long overdue. Again, it’s just another step in the right direction. I didn’t even think this could happen two years ago and then now I’m like, yeah, of course it’s happening. It has to happen now that it’s on the internet. We need this to happen. Obviously, I think it would be amazing to showcase the women that could be the champions in the future but maybe we don’t see them in that light right now. Maybe we see them as kind of floaters or maybe they haven’t locked down their character, maybe they’re a funny girl, hmm, maybe me. There’s all these women that I just feel like, we have so much talent and we’re not able to showcase it all the time and so, putting another title in the mix, I think would just up the ante for that kind of mid-level girl who we know we can elevate them, we know they can get there. But maybe the fans don’t believe in them yet. Maybe they need that championship to showcase it; they can really lead a division. I think if this comes to fruition, this will be a game changer for the women’s locker room on Raw and SmackDown.

While speaking about talents entering the company and there being talent crossovers, Green shared that she’d like to see current NWA World Women’s Champion Kenzie Paige in NXT.

She compared her to Roxanne Perez before Perez joined WWE. Green will be surprised if Kenzie is not in NXT come the new year. Paige is signed to the National Wrestling Alliance.

I mean, definitely Kenzie Paige (is someone I want to see in NXT). Kenzie Paige is with NWA. She has what Rok-C had. Rok, on the indies, had just this je ne sais quoi, just something. Rok was a little different because she was more of just a really introverted babyface that was very skilled. Kenzie was like that and Kenzie is just like this powerhouse now. She grew up in a wrestling family, her dad was a wrestler, she’s been wrestling since she was a baby, her little sister is now wrestling with her. She’s got a great tag partner. She knows who she is and when she’s done at NWA whenever that is, probably 2025 at some point, man, if she isn’t at NXT, I would be shocked. Mark my words, that girl’s gonna be a star.

Green was part of the women’s Money in the Bank Ladder match at the July 6th Premium Live Event. She was not victorious as Tiffany Stratton pushed her off a ladder and went on to capture the briefcase.
