TNA iMPACT notes: NXT’s Izzi Dame challenges for Knockouts World Title, NQCC vs. The Rascalz, Hardys returning, Ali vs. Speedball

Kicking off the the 7/11 TNA iMPACT was Jordynne Grace’s Knockouts World Championship open challenge. Answering the call was NXT’s Izzi Dame and she fell in defeat to Grace.

There was a singles match between Zachary Wentz and NXT’s Charlie Dempsey. No Quarter Catch Crew’s Myles Borne ambushed Trey Miguel at ringside and that distraction led to Dempsey defeating Wentz. No Quarter Catch Crew will be taking on The Rascalz (Zachary Wentz, Trey Miguel & TBA) on 7/18. The Rascalz (Wes Lee, Zachary Wentz & Trey Miguel) will be taking on Gallus (Joe Coffey, Mark Coffey & Wolfgang) on the 7/16 WWE NXT.

‘Speedball’ Mike Bailey versus Mustafa Ali for the X Division Title at Slammiversary is back on. Ali attempted to get the match canceled so Bailey went on to best KUSHIDA and Jonathan Gresham in a three-way. Post-match, Ali and Campaign Singh attacked Trent Seven and Bailey.

The Hardys (Matt Hardy & Jeff Hardy) will be on the 7/18 program.

A.J. Francis picked up a win over Rhino in a Street Fight to retain the Digital Media Championship. He is heading towards Slammiversary to defend the Digital Media and International Heavyweight Wrestling Titles against PCO.

Joining the lineup for the 7/18 TNA iMPACT is Alisha Edwards versus Xia Brookside.
