UJPW holds meeting to discuss steps to becoming incorporated association under Japanese law

Trustees and a spokesperson were determined. 

Thus far, there have been two United Japan Pro-Wrestling shows with the latest ‘All Together’ show taking place on June 16th

New Japan Pro-Wrestling rolled out a write-up which noted that a UJPW meeting was held on July 17th in Tokyo. The focus of the meeting was to discuss steps needed so that UJPW can become an incorporated association under Japanese law. 

11 promotions were represented at the meeting and those are listed as follows: 

  • NJPW
  • STARDOM
  • AJPW
  • Big Japan Pro Wrestling
  • DDT
  • DIANA (Observing capacity)
  • Dragongate
  • Ganbare Pro
  • Kyushu Pro
  • NOAH
  • TJPW 

Representatives from each organization were accompanied by lawyers, accountants and specialists. Once the steps have been completed to make UJPW an incorporated association, DDT President Sanshiro Takagi will serve as UJPW’s spokesman. Kyushu Pro’s Chairman Ryota Chikuzen, Dragongate Board member Ryo Saito and NJPW Chairman Naoki Sugabayashi will serve as trustees.

A formal announcement will be made once the process is complete.
