AEW Collision notes: Darby Allin wants Jack Perry at All In, Dustin Rhodes & Von Erichs align, FTR, Britt/Shida

Darby Allin had his first match since Anarchy in the Arena at Double or Nothing. He scored a win over The Beast Mortos. Afterwards, Allin grabbed a microphone and proceeded to call out TNT Champion Jack Perry for a title match at All In.

There was a backstage segment that aired which saw an alliance established between Dustin Rhodes and The Von Erichs (Kevin Von Erich, Marshall Von Erich & Ross Von Erich).

Dax Harwood stated that FTR’s road back to the AEW World Tag Team Titles begins on the 7/27 Collision and it’ll conclude at All In. It was at the 2023 installment of All In that FTR (Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler) retained the Tag Titles by besting The Young Bucks (Matthew Jackson & Nicholas Jackson).

Added to the Blood & Guts edition of Dynamite on 7/24 is Hikaru Shida versus Britt Baker. Shida was in singles action on Collision but her match against Skye Blue was stopped after Blue suffered an ankle injury.

There was a Lumberjack match between Thunder Rosa and Deonna Purrazzo. Taya Valkyrie handed Purrazzo a turnbuckle and she used it on Rosa to pick up the win. Deonna’s win now puts her at 4-1 against Rosa in singles matches. Their first one-on-one bout was at IMPACT/TNA Slammiversary 2021.
