Bobby Lashley’s future with WWE is reportedly in doubt.

Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp reported on Sunday that the former WWE Champion’s contract is set to expire within weeks.

The report goes on to cite a claim that the 48-year-old has been removed from the company’s internal roster.

His profile was still listed on the public WWE website at the time of writing.

Lashley has made no appearances for WWE since May 5th, when he defeated Santos Escobar at an untelevised live event in Aix-en-Provence, France.

He also appeared in several dark matches and live events in late April. However, his last televised appearance took place on April 12th, when he lost a triple-threat #1 contender match on SmackDown.

Lashley’s current run with WWE began on the Raw after WrestleMania 34 on Monday, April 9th, 2018. He was previously with the company from 2005 to 2008.

Big E posted some high praise for Lashley amid the speculation.

Lashley has made no public comment as yet.
