A brief update on Skye Blue from her partner.
AEW star Skye Blue is recovering at home after sustaining an injury to her right ankle during Saturday’s edition of Collision.
On Sunday, her partner Kyle Fletcher posted a photo to social media of Skye resting on the couch and added:
“We got her home everyone, doctor Kyle on the clock. yeeeeeeeefreakinhaaaaaaaaaw”
The extent of Skye’s injury is still not known. The incident occurred during a match with Hikaru Shida. Shida went for a crossbody onto Blue at ringside, and Skye’s leg appeared to buckle as she caught her opponent.
The medical team quickly assessed her and referee Stephon Smith waved off the match.
Tony Khan confirmed the ankle injury on X during the broadcast.
