It’ll be the management body for Michinoku Pro.
Dating back to 1993, the Michinoku Pro Wrestling promotion has been running events and it was founded by The Great Sasuke and Jinsei Shinzaki.
The promotion made the announcement that they’ll be introducing a new management body called Michipro Corporation. The previous management body was Mutsu Corporation and was headed up by Yoshinori Takizawa.
Michipro is going to be led by Shinzaki and The Great Sasuke. Shinzaki will serve as President and CEO while Sasuke has been appointed as Chairman of the Board of Directors. Udagawa Kiminobu will be the Executive Officer. Fujita ‘Jr.’ Hayato, who’s been working with Michinoku Pro since the beginning of his in-ring career in 2004, will be the commissioner for the promotion.
The change will go into effect on August 1st, 2024. Behind All Japan and NJPW, Michinoku Pro has the third-longest lineage of the men’s pro wrestling organizations in Japan.
