Tony Khan reacts to idea of AEW x WWE ‘supershow’: “I would love if that were possible”

Khan added that there are a lot of business-related matters that would make it challenging.

Ahead of AEW Blood & Guts, company President Tony Khan returned to The Rich Eisen Show and did a one-on-one interview with co-host T.J. Jefferson.

As their conversation progressed, the idea was thrown out for a ‘supershow’ between AEW and WWE. Khan said he’d love if that were possible, but there are many business-related matters that would make it challenging.

I would love if that were possible (doing AEW x WWE supershow). I don’t know that it is, but it would be great if it was possible, for the fans. I think that would be wonderful but, there are a lot of challenging business things in the world of pro wrestling that I think would make that a very challenging thing to do.

On June 30th, AEW and New Japan presented the third installment of the Forbidden Door pay-per-view. The 2024 installment included wrestlers from STARDOM and CMLL.

Come January 5th, 2025, NJPW, AEW, CMLL, ROH and STARDOM will be coming together for Wrestle Dynasty at the Tokyo Dome.
