Naomi described it as a relief.

It has been nearly seven full months since Naomi made her return to WWE as a part of the 2024 women’s Royal Rumble match. She lasted an hour before being eliminated.

She was the focus of a Q&A session on WWE – Die Woche and looked back at the return. She stated that there was a feeling of relief after the negativity that herself and Mercedes Moné received following the walkout.

Oh! My gosh. That too felt like a relief (return to WWE at Royal Rumble). Just all the negativity that surrounded the walkout and everything that Mercedes (Moné) and I experienced. It just felt like a big weight off my shoulders to be back home, to be accepted back home and just to have the opportunity to continue where I started and finish the story, my journey. Ha! ‘Finish the story.’ No pun intended with that one. Just to have the opportunity to end my career where I started and finish things the right way and reconnect with my WWE fans and just to push through that entire time in my career. It just felt really, really, really special and really good to be back, and the crowd and people made me feel that, even backstage. It was like, I was a little nervous but, it feels like I never been away.

Present-day, Naomi is a member of the SmackDown roster. She was part of the women’s Money in the Bank Ladder match and on the 7/12 SmackDown, she picked up a win over Blair Davenport.
