STARDOM welcoming in Anna Jay.
Beginning August 10th, STARDOM will kick off their 5STAR Grand Prix tournament that’ll conclude on August 31st. The promotion rolled out the announcement that AEW’s Anna Jay will be a part of the tournament in the Blue Stars A block.
It’ll be Jay’s first time competing in Japan. She began her in-ring career in 2019.
The standings for this year’s tournament are listed as follows:
- Blue Block A: Saori Anou, Syuri, Starlight Kid, Xena, Koguma, Anna Jay & TBA
- Blue Block B: Suzu Suzuki, Saya Kamitani, Hanan, Ranna Yagami, Saki Kashima, Thekla & Risa Sera
- Red Block A: Maika, Hazuki, Natsuko Tora, Konami, Manami, Natsupoi & Yuna Mizumori
- Red Block B: Mayu Iwatani, Tam Nakano, Momo Watanabe, AZM, Mei Seira, Saya Iida & Tomoka Inaba
STARDOM held a show on 7/27 and the main event saw Natsupoi defeat Saori Anou to become the new Wonder of Stardom Champion.
