Bret chimes in on several subjects.

Joining Signed By Superstars for a virtual signing was Bret Hart. He was asked if AEW ever reached out to him about being involved with the Owen Hart Cup tournament.

Hart said he’s never been contacted about it, but thinks it would ‘ruffle WWE’s feathers’ if he were to get involved.

Nope (Bret responded when asked if Tony Khan has ever asked him to get involved with Owen Hart Cup). He’s never asked me… I’d have to think about it (if he did ask). I like Tony and I’d be happy to help out but I don’t know if I’d wanna go down — I think it might ruffle WWE’s feathers, and I get all my — everything tied in through them. But, then again, it can’t hurt to ask.

A talent that has wrestled for AEW on two occasions in 2024 is the nephew of Dynamite Kid, Tommy Billington. Bret shared his thoughts about him:

I have, lots of times (seen Tommy Billington wrestle). He’s getting there. He’s good but he’s small.

Elsewhere during the signing, Bret was asked for his thoughts about the sex trafficking lawsuit/allegations against Vince McMahon. In February, he spoke out against McMahon. Here was his latest comment about the situation:

What goes around comes around.

The latest on the aforementioned lawsuit is that McMahon filed a motion to lift the court-ordered stay in the case. To read more, click here.
