MVP challenges Josh Barnett for future match, confirms his contract is set to expire “soon”

MVP appeared at Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport XI on Sunday night and issued a challenge for a future match with the group.

Following Josh Barnett’s stoppage win against Bad Dude Tito, MVP entered the ring and discussed his history with Barnett, He noted that when he began training eleven years ago, it was with Barnett in Los Angeles.

MVP followed by acknowledging and confirming the reports that his deal is about to expire at WWE and that he will be exiting the company:

“And my contract with a company who I won’t mention right now is about to expire, and I’m not going back.”

MVP challenged Barnett for a future Bloodsport, which Barnett accepted. He said he was welcome to bring others with references to The Hurt Business in Barnett’s response.

MVP had been seated in the front row throughout the show before his appearance inside the ring.
