Elliot wants Punk to walk out with him for a fight.

One of the fights on the bill for UFC 304 from Manchester, England was Oban Elliot versus Preston Parsons. Elliot walked away with the victory via decision in the third round to make his record 11-2-0.

The Welsh fighter took the press conference room after his win and fielded questions from the media (via MMA Junkie). When asked about his potential post-fight ventures, he mentioned that he has ‘business to handle’ in Berlin under the TKO banner. WWE is going to be in Berlin in late August leading up to their Bash in Berlin Premium Live Event.

I think I’ve got some business in Berlin. Under the TKO banner and I’ll leave it at that. I’ll leave it at that.

Elliot stated that if he is to get on UFC’s Madison Square Garden card in November, he’ll think about using a WWE theme song as walkout music. He added that he wants CM Punk to walk out with him.

Well, if they give me the M.S.G. card, I might walk out to Hulk Hogan’s song, or The Rock’s song and I wanted to do that for this fight but Shaky (Richard Shore) was like, ‘Nah, nah, nah. Stick with your thing…’ I’ll have to mix it up. Get a bit of WWE in there. Or maybe I’ll get CM Punk walk out with me in MSG. I know he’d be up for that. (It was suggested to Elliot to save that for Chicago) Yeah, well, are we fighting in Chicago anytime soon in the UFC?… Yeah, but I’ll do that, and Punk will be with me.

UFC 305 is taking place August 17th in Perth, Australia and it’ll feature the return of Israel Adesanya, who has not fought since UFC 293 in September 2023. He’ll be fighting Dricus Du Plessis.
