The Rascalz (Wes Lee, Zachary Wentz & Trey Miguel) had their treehouse segment air on night one of NXT Great American Bash. M.S.K. (Lee & Wentz) set their sights on the NXT Tag Team Championships and Axiom agreed to the bout. On night two of Great American Bash, Lee and Wentz will challenge the champions Axiom and Nathan Frazer.

Joe Hendry’s live musical performance took place and during it, he made fun of Gallus (Joe Coffey, Mark Coffey & Wolfgang). They interrupted his encore performance and jumped him. Joe Coffey hit Hendry across the back with a guitar. At Great American Bash night two, Hendry and Joe Coffey will go one-on-one.

Adding on to the lineup for the 8/6 program are the following bouts:

  • NXT Championship: Ethan Page (c) vs. Oro Mensah
  • NXT Women’s North American Championship: Kelani Jordan (c) vs. Tatum Paxley

There was a video package that aired with Pete Dunne explaining why he went after Trick Williams. In the video, Dunne addressed the name change to ‘Butch,’ Brawling Brutes and Tyler Bate being sidelined. He’ll go one-on-one with Trick on 8/6.

In the main event, Roxanne Perez bested Thea Hail to retain the NXT Women’s Championship.

The opening match saw Isla Dawn and Alba Fyre successfully defend the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships against Jakara Jackson and Lash Legend.

Tony D’Angelo held onto the Heritage Cup by defeating Tavion Heights in the fifth round 2-1.

Hank Walker and Tank Ledger did the Great American Bash intro, hosted the show and conducted talent interviews throughout the program.
