Kosei Fujita out of action with shoulder injury

Kosei Fujita has sustained an AC joint injury to his left shoulder.

New Japan Pro Wrestling announced the news on Wednesday night. Fujita picked up the injury in a G1 Climax 34 tour undercard tag match on July 31st.

The 22-year-old was teaming with his TMDK stable-mate Zack Sabre Jr. against LIJ’s Shingo Takagi and Testuya Naito in Yamaguchi.

Fujita is not competing in the G1 Climax tournament but has been taking part in preliminary tag matches during the tour.

NJPW stated:

Fujita will not compete in his scheduled matches on August 4 in Nagoya, August 7 in Korakuen and August 10 in Sendai.

The following three matches have been cancelled as a result:

August 4: Zack Sabre Jr. & Kosei Fujita vs EVIL & Dick Togo

August 7: Zack Sabre Jr. & Kosei Fujita vs Shoma Kato & Katsuya Murashima

August 10: Zack Sabre Jr. & Kosei Fujita vs SANADA & TAKA Michinoku
