Shane McMahon has released a brief statement about his meeting with AEW boss Tony Khan.
McMahon and Khan were pictured meeting at a private airport in Arlington, Texas, on Monday.
On Wednesday night’s edition of Busted Open After Dark, Bully Ray read out the statement, which had been provided to him by McMahon.
Tony and I were connected through a mutual friend, and we had a great meeting. We talked about many things, but mostly about our shared love for the business and the rewards and challenges of working with family. I congratulated him on the five-year anniversary of AEW and I look forward to how he evolves the business moving forward.
