TNA iMPACT notes: Matt Cardona crashes Steph De Lander & PCO’s wedding

In the great tradition of pro wrestling weddings, all did not go smoothly for PCO and Steph De Lander on TNA iMPACT.

The show closed with the much-anticipated ceremony, which was officiated by Santino Marella.

The two did manage to finally tie the knot after the presentation of a ring on a severed finger and some unconventional vows.

However, as the newly hitched couple kissed, Matt Cardona emerged with a “gift”. He hit PCO in the head with it, and unwrapped it, revealing it to be a cinder block.

Cardona and a distraught De Lander yelled at each other as the show went off the air.

  • The Rascalz (Zachary Wentz, Wes Lee & Trey Miguel) defeated KUSHIDA & Speedball Mountain (Mike Bailey & Trent Seven) in the show opener
  • Jordynne Grace announced an open challenge for her TNA Knockouts Title on August 8th

  • Josh Alexander was introduced to the ring but refused to come out. Backstage, he ranted about fans believing in Joe Hendry before storming off
  • Frankie Kazarian defeated Ryan Nemeth. Post-match, Josh Alexander came out and hit Nemeth with the C4 Spike
  • The return of the The Ultimate X Match was announced for TNA Emergence on August 30th
  • Jody Threat defeated Masha Slamovich
  • Mike Santana defeated Campaign Singh
  • Nic Nemeth (c) defeated Mustafa Ali to retain the TNA World Championship
