AEW Collision went live at a special start time of 5 pm ET on Saturday to avoid a head-to-head with WWE SummerSlam.

** The show began with an appearance from The Patriarchy. Christian Cage came out holding all three AEW Trios Titles. He presented Nick Wayne with his championship but did not give Killswitch his, instead giving it to Mother Wayne for “giving birth to a prodigy.”

Brody King and Malakai Black of House of Black then emerged and confronted The Patriarchy. The lights went out. When they came back on, Buddy Matthews was in the ring and The Patriarchy beat a retreat. As they headed for the back, the Bang Bang Gang appeared, so the heels headed through the crowd to escape. Kip Sabian intercepted Nick Wayne and threw him back to ringside where he took a beatdown from all three HoB members.

The House of Black faced off with the Bang Bang Gang to end the segment.

** In a backstage interview, Lexi Nair was interviewing the new ROH Six-Man Champions, Dustin Rhodes and The Von Erichs, when Sammy Guevara appeared. Guevara said he wanted to earn Rhodes’s trust and team with all three of the champs as “Texas legends.” Rhodes and Guevara shook hands.

** Mistico & Holgram def. The Premier Athletes (Tony Nese & Ariya Daivari)

** A promo for Wednesday’s match between Bryan Danielson & Jeff Jarrett aired. Ricky ‘The Dragon’ Steamboat will be a special ringside guest for the match.

** Mariah May came out to the commentary desk for Toni Storm’s scheduled match. She immediately asked Tony Schiavone, “Can I speak now, bitch?”

Storm’s music hit but she immediately went after May instead of heading to the ring. The two brawled around the ringside area until security broke them up. Nevertheless, Storm had her match.

** Toni Storm def. Raché Chanel

** A vignette aired on the history between Kyle Fletcher and Will Ospreay ahead of Fletcher’s match with MJF on next week’s Dynamite.

** A video package was shown on MJF’s debut in CMLL. He successfully defended his AEW American Championship against Templario.

** Kyle Fletcher def. Brian Cage

** Fletcher cut a promo, challenging MJF to put his title on the line for their match on Wednesday. MJF appeared on the video screen and said he would give him an eliminator match. If Fletcher can pin or submit him, he will get a title shot.

** Backstage, Jeff Jarrett said he “couldn’t be more thrilled” to help Danielson get ready for Swerve Strickland. He challenged Danielson to an “anything goes” match with “no rules” on Wednesday.

** AEW Continental Championship #1 Contender Match: Claudio Castagnoli def. Lee & Tomohiro Ishii

** Top Flight & Leila Grey were interviewed backstage. They were interrupted by MxM Collection who insulted their fashion choices.

** Thunder Rosa def. Taya Valkyrie

After the match, Thunder Rosa called out Deonna Purrazo. The pair will compete in a Texas Bull Rope match on next week’s edition of Collision.

** Eight-man Tag Match: Darby Allin, Mark Briscoe & FTR (Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler) def. The Beast Mortos & The Undisputed Kingdom (Roderick Strong, Matt Taven, and Mike Bennett)

An excellent and lengthy main event match to close out the show.

After the match, The Acclaimed came out and challenged the winners. Mark Briscoe tried to cool tempers but there was no burying of the hatchet.
