Anderson and Rhodes reunite.
The main event of the night at SummerSlam was the Undisputed WWE Championship match between Solo Sikoa and the champion Cody Rhodes in what was a Bloodline Rules bout.
Rhodes’ entrance started off with him in his tour bus. He made his way through the backstage area while walking his dog, Pharoah. Commentator Corey Graves stated that it’ll be Rhodes’ last walk with his dog in a professional wrestling setting as Pharoah will no longer be traveling with Cody.
As Cody was nearing the entrance area, he ran into Arn Anderson. The WWE Hall of Famer gave Rhodes a pep talk and told him that he has friends that’ll have his back in the Bloodline Rules match. He added that Rhodes already knows some of those individuals.
Arn and Rhodes were a wrestler-manager pair in AEW. Anderson wrapped up with the company in May when his contract expired.
