After WWE SummerSlam went off the air, the post-show took place. There was a press conference with the media and then there was a separate post-show that was hosted by Jackie Redmond, Big E, Wade Barrett and Peter Rosenberg. Below are the highlights and notables:

Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque

  • Speaking about Nia Jax, Levesque said a lot of people doubted her and questioned why she was brought back to WWE. He feels she’s proving people wrong.
  • On the subject of the CM Punk versus Drew McIntyre match with Seth Rollins as the special guest referee, he called it a masterpiece. Levesque said he’s thrilled for Punk.
  • Levesque finds it difficult to find someone more deserving than new World Heavyweight Champion GUNTHER. He shared a conversation he had with Damian Priest after the match and told Priest he proved people wrong with his title run.
  • Jacob Fatu and Logan Paul are ‘banged up’ and Levesque hopes it’s nothing serious.
  • When asked about the WWE-TNA relationship, he said WWE is open for business and explained how it benefits both sides.
  • Stephanie McMahon does not have an official role at WWE, but she loves it and it’s easy for her to love it again.

  • Responded to question of if the 2024 SummerSlam is the last one-night version of the event and he thinks it will be. Minneapolis, Minnesota has a two-night SummerSlam in 2026.

Cody Rhodes

  • He feels the rematch with Reigns has to happen.
  • Rhodes discussed his connection with Arn Anderson. He said Anderson was a piece of sanity for him during a chaotic time. Rhodes referenced the ‘Glock’ promo and added that he hopes to see more of Arn and hopes he’ll be with him when that next time comes. All of the wrestlers got a mass text about the legends who would be in attendance at the PLE. The text included photos and biographies of those legends.
