Zack Sabre Jr. scored a big win against EVIL to tie them up for the top place in NJPW’s G1 Climax 34 A Block standings on Tuesday evening.

Sabre Jr. scored a 19-second win against EVIL from Korakuen Hall in Tokyo, Japan, catching the House of Torture leader with a roll-up pin to suddenly win and stop the heel faction from continuing their interference tactics.

The result moved Sabre Jr. up to first with 10 points in the A Block, tying him with EVIL. Below them, with eight points each are SANADA and Tetsuya Naito, who strengthened their positions on Tuesday with wins in the top two matches of the night.

Current IWGP World Heavyweight Champion Naito got past Shota Umino in 14 minutes, hitting his Destino finisher against the “Roughneck” to secure his fourth win of the tournament.

SANADA had a competitive first-time singles meeting against former stablemate Shingo Takagi, countering a Last of the Dragon into a Deadfall to win in nearly 20 minutes.

The G1 Climax will return tomorrow with another show from Korakuen Hall, this time featuring wrestlers in the B Block. David Finlay, who is currently tied for first, will take on Hirooki Goto in the main event. Fellow current first-place wrestler Jeff Cobb will meet G1 rookie Boltin Oleg.

Here are the quick results from Tuesday’s show, plus a look at the standings in both blocks through 11 events:
